Katherine has worked on custom residences, parks, housing developments and residential developments on the Monterey Peninsula, in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Marin Counties, and in the Palm Springs area.

Katherine has worked on projects at every phase from conceptual design through preparation of construction documents.

She has gained wide respect for integrating design solutions which focus on environmental sensitivity combined with exceptional planning practice.

She is committed to landscape design that is inspired, responsive and thoughtful.

Being a native of the Monterey Peninsula gives her a unique awareness of the regional codes, design archetypes, regional plants (and animals), ecosystems, and water demands.

She developed and wrote the Defensive Space Plan for fire safety, the Forest Management Plan, and the landscape section for the CC&R’s for two of the Monterey Peninsula’s most exclusive developments.

Katherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture from the University of California at Berkeley where she received the American Society of Landscape Architects’ Award of Honor for design excellence.

While in school she was the  President of the A.S.L.A. student chapter and the recipient of numerous awards and grants based on her academic achievements and distinction in design.

Katherine is also a past member of the Sonoma County Design Review Board.
